Natural light is spread at the University of Arizona, US.
The University has chosen to install GK-Parans natural sunlight SP4 series at the new premises for the Department of Health Sciences and Innovation. It is a prominent research university that, in addition to testing GK-Parans natural sunlight system collector for new uses, also will use it to get the building approved under the LEED environmental certification system.
The natural light is spread in a hall way and a lounge with the help of the so-called Point Light luminaire. The collector on the roof is of the GK-Parans SP4-8 model, which means that it has eight light points. From the collector, 100-meter-long cables lead the light, with maintained light intensity, through several floors to the rooms.
